Following on from our life cycle topic and
watching our caterpillars change and become butterflies, the children in
Dolphins showed an interest in looking at snails, slugs and other creepy
crawlies they find outside so we decided to expand upon their knowledge and
interest through a variety of activities. |
Christine supported the children to create Bugs using pipe cleaners, feathers and polystyrene balls.The children enjoyed using different materials and different shaped objects.

We released our butterflies at
the beginning of the month, which was very exciting as some of the (braver)
children got a chance to hold a butterfly before saying goodbye to them!
